HOW TO BE A GOOD STUDENT:)

1 Appointment to elect the board of the class.
Class representative.
Substitute Class representative.
Treasurer.


2 Profile cards:
All students have to fill them up (within the orientation week).
2 pictures have to be given to your AA within the first week.
At the back of the card, you have to write any medical condition. This will stay strictly confidential.


3 You have to give a copy of your certificates.
You have to file them.
Will be needed for exemption Special case for the Bahasa Melayu
The copies of the diplomas have to be certified downstairs.


4 Exemptions (within the 1st week, you can apply for exemptions)
You’ll have to show the proof. But it is not guaranteed through...
Work-placement (you have to show a proof). 6 months placement may be getting exemptions.
Bahasa Melayu: You have to wait for the official exemption. The exemption will be given from downstairs.


5 In case of exemption:
No fees for the subject. Fees paid will not be refundable, they will be carried on the following semester.


BUT....
As long as there is no exemption, you have to go in class!!!!!




6 Student fund:
RM 10 the first semester (Grapewine & students fund)
RM 5 the 2 following semester.
RM 0 for the last semester.


7 Holidays:
Set by the school!!!
If you want to take more holidays, it is on your own account...


8 Sick days:
You‘ll have to call KDU or your AA.
After your MC, you have to give a letter from your parents or your GP.
You’ll have to give a photocopy to all classes you’ve missed.


9 Discipline:
NO VIOLENCE IS ALLOWED. IN KDU.
If you raise the fist: Get terminated.

10 Attendance record:
80% otherwise you’ll be barred...


11 Uniform & dressing:
On Mondays: You have to wear your uniform.

- Front office = formal.
Kitchen = uniform (safety).

Before you get your uniform, you have to wear the KDU polo or white shirt.
And off course NO SLIPPERS!!!!

AA and lecturers will be strict on dressing.
